Nick Adenhart dies in a drunk driving hit and run.

Nick Adenhart and 2 others were killed early this morning allegedly by Thomas Gallo while driving under the influence through a red light at the corner of Orangethorpe and Lemon St. in my home town of Fullerton, CA. Thomas Gallo was driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI.

This just reminds me of how seriously selfish drink and driving is. I personally have given up drinking because of the stupid things people do while doing it in excess. I could have just as easily been driving down Lemon last night, crazy stuff.

How to disable the mailto links in Firefox 3

Time to remove the mailto links from Firefox 3

1. Enter "about:config" into the address bar
2. When you are told "This might void your warranty!" click "I'll be careful, I promise!" because you will be careful.
3. Type "mailto" into the filter
4. Select "network.protocol-handler.external.mailto"
5. Toggle to false

That is all. From now on whenever you click on an email address nothing will happen. No more worries about that bloated new Outlook Express email window popping up and wasting a valuable minute of your time.

You can also Set Firefox 3 to Launch Gmail for mailto Links

Master your Sleep Cycle

I have been doing a lot research looking for ways deal with little sleep without using caffeine or other stimulants to artificially maintain focus at work. I learned that a good way to do this is to plan out a good nap cycle. Here is an easy to understand diagram that describes the natural human sleep cycle and how you can use that to get the most out of your day.
